Deck of Wonders Late Pledges are LIVE!!!

The Deck of Wonders Pledge Manager is LIVE!

Deck of Wonders is now live on Gamefound! Those of you who pledged on Kickstarter should have an email in your inbox inviting you to the Gamefound pledge manager. If you missed the Kickstarter, you can get in on the game now AND help us meet additional stretch goals. As promised: late pledges will count towards those goals, and we'll be tracking our progress towards them on the Gamefound page. Speaking of stretch goals, our pledge manger launch comes with ANOTHER major announcement:

Deck of Wonders is coming to Forteller, no stretch goal needed!

You may remember that our most ambitious stretch goal was to professionally produce the Deck of Wonders story elements as audio segments via Forteller Games. We didn't quite reach it during the campaign, but there was still going to be a chance to unlock it through late pledges.

Well, thanks to some fantastic partnership from Forteller, we're able to commit to Deck of Wonders audio RIGHT NOW! Anyone who backed on Kickstarter or who pledges through Gamefound will get the audio for FREE, and it will be available to everyone else ongoing for $3.99.

Tracking Stretch Goals

With Forteller audio pulled forward, there's still an extra Villain and additional story content to be unlocked! As promised: late pledges will count towards those goals, and we'll be tracking those stretch goals on the Gamefound page. Just scroll to the Stretch Goals section for updates on how close we are to them!

Not-Overly-Kiddy Board Games to Play with Kids Under 10

I asked a couple days ago about games that were great to play with kids, but were also fun for adults and not overly saccharine in terms of the theme. The response was overwhelming! Well over 200 different games were recommended, some by upwards of 20 people.
Since Facebook comment threads are near-impossible to parse, I took the time to aggregate the responses into the graph below. Note that I tried to catch misspellings or any obvious joke answers (noted with an "lol"), but some may have gotten through. There were also so many games, that I only put those mentioned twice or more into the graph. Please note that these are all games people suggested, so being mentioned even once is admirable. You can also see the full list in the table below the graph. Enjoy, and let me know how playing these games with your kids goes!
Oh, and I'm launching my own game Deck of Wonders on Kickstarter in late August, and would really appreciate any support you could throw my way!

All About Deck of Wonders

The Deck of Wonders coming soon page is live on Kickstarter!!! This is a major milestone in the sprint to launching the Kickstarter campaign, and you can check out the Deck of Wonders coming soon page here. Condensing this game down to a single image and sentence was an agonizing process, so I wanted to share more detail about the game on this blog. Below is a more detailed (though still very high-level) description of Deck of Wonders that hopefully makes you even more excited than the coming soon page did! All of this is obviously work-in-progress, and that means your input (in the comments of this article or on any of my socials) can help shape Deck of Wonders into it's final form. Enjoy, and let me know what you think!
